Issue Question: Rate the President

News organizations often do polls to find out if people feel the president is doing a good job. This is called an approval rating. According to a recent CNN poll President Obama’s approval rating is up to 50 percent for the first time in more than eight months.Some feel that the president is doing a good job. He is trying to turn around the economy by creating more jobs, ending the war in Iraq, and trying to end tax breaks for the rich.Others feel that the president is not doing a good job. They feel that the war should have been ended sooner and that he isn’t doing enough to turn the economy around. They also feel that with this being an election year it might be time for new leadership in the country.We want to know what you think: “Is President Obama doing a good job? Why or why not?”
